Get to know us.
Our Story:
Thanks to the internet, we met in the fall of 2014. After our first date we both knew that there was something special between us. During the next year, we spent most of our free time getting to know each other, each other’s families and friends, while sharing lots of fun and crazy adventures together. Falling more and more in love with each other every step of the way, we were married 4 years later. Today, we are dog parents to our adorable 3-year-old Mini Golden Doodle named Sully. We bought a house, close to our family and friends, located in a quiet and safe neighborhood (we live on Long Island, NY. Just a quick train ride to NYC!) that is filled with growing families. We love traveling and weekend getaways, the beach, hiking, exploring our local neighborhood, going to the movies, catching a ball game and of course a night at home curled up on the couch together watching a movie. We love spending time with our family and friends who are all incredibly supportive of us and our decision to become adoptive parents. Watching family members and childhood friends grow up to become amazing loving parents, further instills in us that being parents is the one thing missing from our incredible life together.

As I am sitting in this room - I’m imagining the story of our life unfolding in this house. We are so grateful that we have this beautiful new home for a sweet little one to be safe and warm and loved in. I can’t wait to wake up with you in the mornings, and soothe you when you are tired. It will all happen here. And I am absolutely over the 🌙 excited.We spent this last weekend going to the stables at Belmont! Andrea (my amazing SIL) and her husband Rob own a few race horses. It was so nice to take a break from moving to go and pet horsies all day - horse therapy is legit! My face hurt from smiling so much!-Amanda
